UK Cyber Security Association’s CEO & Founder Lisa Ventura Selected as a Finalist in Two Categories in the 2019 Cyber Security Awards
Worcester, United Kingdom, Monday 27 May 2019: Lisa Ventura, CEO & Founder of the UK Cyber Security Association, is pleased to announce that she has been selected as finalist in two categories in the 2019 Cyber Security Awards – “Personality of the Year” and “Woman of the Year”.
The Cyber Security Awards were established in 2014, to reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the cyber security industry. Excellence and innovation are core themes, throughout all categories. The Cyber Security Awards team, reviews the industry, looking for the best possible applicants. We encourage all those, who are committed to progressing the industry, to apply. Organizations and people from all over the world are eligible to submit applications including public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups, as long as they have a presence within the United Kingdom.
The winners will be announced at the Cyber Security Awards dinner and presentation at the Park Plaza Hotel, Victoria, on the 4th of July 2019.
Speaking of the news that she is a finalist in two categories, Lisa Ventura, CEO & Found of the UK Cyber Security Association, said: “To be selected as a finalist in two categories in this year’s Cyber Security Awards is a huge honour and I’m proud to be chosen to represent the best of the cyber security industry in this way along with some of the most leading and influential people who are also in the industry. I entered the cyber security industry when it was in its infancy in 2009 when I was PR & Marketing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of a leading Worcester based cyber security software development company, and over the years I’ve seen the industry grow and develop as many look to develop new ways to keep us safe from the growing cyber threat.”
Awards judge Karla Reffold said: “The competition this year is incredibly tough and diverse. This was the toughest year so far to have made the shortlist. There are so many fantastic individuals, innovative products and companies that are doing great things within cyber security.”
